In 19th-century Persia, Táhirih was a poet, scholar, theologian, and revolutionary thinker at a moment when women's lives were governed by strict expectations. She dared to imagine a different future—one in which women could exercise intellectual and spiritual authority and participate as equals.
This Garden of Even™ portrait of Táhirih is a daily reminder that a different future begins with the courage to imagine it—and the conviction to live as though it is already possible.
Artwork in collaboration with Moonjube.
